Revelation

We believe in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit: creator of everything, provider, healer, shepherd, our rock and salvation, friend, father, defender, protector, comforter, restorer and teacher. In short, everything we need is in Him.

We believe Jesus came to earth to show us what God is like. That he was crucified to take the blame for the wrong things we do, and that he came back to life three days later. We believe that because he took the blame for our mess we can be right with God. We believe that when he returned to heaven he left his spirit, the Holy Spirit or Spirit of Jesus to be with us always and that he is our help and our guide.

We believe that God is a God of relationship. That he wants to be involved in our lives and to help, comfort and guide. That we can talk to him about anything and he can and does provide practical help or strength to deal with the circumstances.

We believe that the bible is the inspired word of God and that the contents can guide us and help us make sense of the world we live in.

We believe in life before and after death! That Jesus died to give us life to the full, the best life that we can lead, and life with him forever after death. That he is the source and giver of joy, peace, patience, self control, love, goodness, kindness, gentleness and faithfullness.

We believe that we still keep getting stuff wrong but he's faithful and always willing to help us try again and have another go!

Jesus, thank you that you died to take the blame for the things I've done wrong. Please forgive me and free me from sin. Come into my life and help me to understand and do things your way. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
