Do I have to be a Christian to come to Rev?
Absolutely not! Everyone is welcome.
Will everyone try and convert me if I come?
No. Because we believe that faith is an individual relationship between a person and God, therefore noone can force that on anyone else or make anyone else believe. either it's real for you or it isn't. Furthermore, if God exists, he is big enough to make himself known to you all by himself.
Can anyone play in the band?
We have a mix of beginners and experienced musicians and singers and it seems to work OK.
I'd love to come but I haven't got transport.
We may be able to arrange transport for you - get in touch and we'll see if anyone with a car is passing your way.
I don't like going anywhere new by myself.
We can arrange for someone to collect you until you are happy to arrive on your own.
What if I don't like it?
People can arrive and leave anytime they like.
What sort of music do you have? is it hymns?
Not usually - we use contemporary worship music - for an idea of some of the songs we use try the Youtube links below.
How much does it cost?
Rev is free. There is sometimes a small charge for trips out and Church Camp costs but can be subsidised if you are in financial hardship.
